Not sure how I feel about Sark. My immediate reaction is "No"....but the Bama fans in the responses to Suttles tweet are hoping it's not true, so maybe I'm wrong. I just feel like we are reeling now, and that has me concerned.

Ummm he was 34-29 at Washington and 24-21 in the PAC 12.

He never won more than 8 games at a fairly decent PAC 12 school over 5 seasons.

Personal issues aside, he has been fairly mediocre. Is he bringing Waddle and Devonta Smith with him? If so, I can get on board.

Washington went 0-12 the year before he got there. He went 9-4 his first season at USC, the most by a first year coach for them.

That's about how I feel. I don't know ... the baseball hire seem like a cluster but it looks like Cohen might have done okay. The football hire with Moorhead seemed smooth as silk and that turned out like crap. So now I'm just riding the waves.

Has nothing to do with being Southern. Has to do with whether or not you've coached Southern type players.

They are a different bread down here in some good ways & some bad ways. Most off all just different than some other parts of the country.

Sark has been at Bama long enough now that he gets it. He's coached these types of players understands the league

Yep, this is a much riskier 'fit' than Napier would be. If we go this direction I hope it works but if there was anyway to have gotten Napier on board I still think we blew a big opportunity.

Yea, I looked over his resume and he is a West Coast guy who has this year as the Alabama OC and a previous year as an offensive analyst at Bama. How involved in recruiting has he been with them? Setting the 'culture' at Bama we have talked so much about being a problem under Moorhead? Hiring coaches to work under him from the Southeast? Connections with MS HS coaches? These are all things that Napier should have a big leg up on Sark. Plus, the only players in the South that he's dealt with are the 5 star recruits that Bama gets that come from all over. Sark running a team that is 75% Mississippi kids? Don't really know if that is something that will work or not.
