I think we are in an era of recruiting whose philosophy is..do anything..do whatever...stand out even if its rediculous. I'm still not sure how I feel about our recruiting letters. But I do know we never got a top tier quarterback in the past when we were NOT using this tactic. Kidding...sort of. Like I said...it's a do anything to be remembered approach these days.

sounds like you were right Colonel ... the consensus appears to be in favor of Dan retaining some measure of dignity ... kids these days think a lot differently than they did when most of us were that age ... looks like coaches are exploring new methods in an attempt to figure out what pushes these guys buttons now-a-days

I'm not going to knock it. They are trying to get people hyped for football season. Maybe it's not perfect, but at least they are trying.
