Whew!!!! Also makes me wonder if Cohen is calling folks & telling them they didn't get it.

There's going to be more State fans watching ULL tonight than actual ULL fans.

I've looked at Monken a little more and he's not bad - has some intensity:

One thing about the service academy coaches is that they will demand discipline. I remember when we played Air Force in the Liberty Bowl many years ago on a very cold night, they ran all over us. They were very well coached. I'm not sure how they would fit in at State, but I think our team would be much more disciplined than they have been for sure.

Oddly enough, Chizik is part of the ESPN broadcast team calling the final bowl tonight that involves Billy Napier's Cajuns.

Is this a subtle little hint?

Kinda weird to point that out if Napier was no longer a candidate.

I just worry how a coach coming from a service academy background would handle some of the discipline issues that you have with SEC programs. Service academy players have a very structured schedule from the time they wake up until the time they go to sleep, they're also very disciplined off the football field when it comes to academics. That's not just taught by the football coach. SEC programs don't have that kind of structure. Players have free time and I just wonder how he'd be able to handle having to keep reigns on all the issues that come with that.
