Why not just name an interim coach for this coming season rather than possibly make a multi-million dollar mistake? Sure it?ll likely be a tough year but it?s better than getting saddled with a bad hire for four years. Just a thought for msg board fodder

We had Luke for three years and he won 15 games. Those 15 wins cost OM $26.5 mm so absolutely not. I would think sitting HC’s are reluctant to make a change this late in the process and that possibly applies to assistants.
My only point was to keep from making a high dollar mistake like OM did

It's not late in the game yet... In fact it's a dead period for recruiting until Jan 16th.

No..we won't be going an intern route.
