Here's more pictures of Isotopes. It's bad ass, no doubt.

We could cut the seats that extend around the RF foul poul as they aren't needed. But everything down the lines looks perfect to me.

I agree. It would set a new precedent in the SEC, and I forgot the numbers, but I think I remember it being fairly affordable based off of the Isotopes numbers. Especially since we likely wouldn't be building from the ground up.

Without having to look it up, do you know how many Isotopes seats?

Wikipedia says 11K seats. Cutting out the RF seats and the second level down the 1B line, and adding our own touch to the base layout we could have ~8000 seats.

I love it. We need to tweet Stricklin and make him aware. It never really went anywhere last year, but if we churn out some huge crowds over the next few home series, and then host a Regional and God willing a Super, he may take notice. I'm sure Cohen would be all for it. It may not draw Scott's attention right now, but now's the time to try while our program is getting some national attention and on the rise. The argument for it is FAR better now than it was this time last year.

I like the of the layout of this park a lot, guys. I am a student here though, and I think the reason more students don't come is that there is no true "student section." How could we do that with this park and keep the lounges? Tear out several hundred feet in right field as mentioned and build terraces or a hill? Personally, I think Ole Miss did it right with the student section.

theres two sections above the first base dugout for students or "dudes". Plenty of student seating between that and the outfield

A true "Dude" section would be a great addition. Also I think a berm or something of that nature down one of the lines would be nice for a family atmosphere. Just an idea and would live to hear others opinions.

There's a big difference between that and a "student section" like the comparison he made -- where students have a(free) predetermined meeting area where they can show up at gametime with a cooler in tow. We've got the real estate to do it on the right field hill around the scoreboard... Just need to tier it like OM did with their right field hill.
