Hell I would love to have a 300 pound Refrigerator running the ball when the offense is on the two yard line.

Kicking rocks more than likely.

The thing is this was all our fault for expecting better. Its not like anyone promised heismans or championship rings.

Crazy thing is, the 2018 was probably above average talented like the 85 Bears.

That 2018 team had:

One of the top defensive lineman in the NFL rookie class - not a day 1 starter only due to injury
One of the top defensive ends in the NFL rookie class - Day 1 starter
Probably the top safety in the NFL rookie class - Day 1 starter that went out with injury
The top interior Oline - Day 1 starter and probably one of the top guards in the NFL right now - gave up zero sacks all year
One of the top interior Oline - Day 1 starter in the NFL

Top rushing QB in SEC history
Returning RB with over 1K yards the previous year
Returned the entire WR corp from a top 40 offense
Returned the entire TE corp from a top 40 offense

This was hands down our most talented team in MSU history and Joe shit the bed with it. Any Division 1 Head Coach could have gotten 8 wins out of that group.

Fitz is probably the #2 QB all time and Aeris SHOULD have been a top 3 RB if Moorhead didn't screw him over.

I would say this and our 2010 team were the most talented. Man a focused Dan Mullen and what he could have done with last year's team. Crying shame

And a RB would lead the SEC in Rushing the following season. We could have easily had 3- 1,000 yard rushers in 2018 with that talent

I would say the 2018 team had more mature talent. Some of the NFL guys on 2010 were younger but that team was extremely talented. Mullen schemed around Relf's limitations really well. A high level QB would have made that team really special. It is a shame that we wasted Fitz and Aeris's senior year.
