I want to know who is on everyone's list realistically.
1. Napier
2. Hudspeth
3. Sonny Dykes
4. Joe Judge
Those who should of been called and made to say No.
1. PJ Fleck
2. Matt Rhule
3. Scott Satterfield
Now after watching the PC today, I kind of think Hudspeth is the guy after Napier getting cold feet.

I'd go after Brian Johnson over Knox.

Grantham with Greg Knox as OC.
I read some rumor that if Grantham came that he would bring Brian Johnson as OC. I wouldn't mind that combination. Not sure how I would feel about Knox. Has he ever called plays?

I hope that a true search is being conducted. Napier seeems to be the fan-favorite and may be the best available. But I want the absolute best coach available. A proven x and o guy, motivator, recruiter, someone not intimidated with having great assistants, etc

It will be either Napier or Hud. I believe it will be Napier but Hud is the back up plan.

TG is 2nd in line. Maybe first. He has connections and is the exact opposite of what we just had.

Napier or Clawson for me. Napier preferably because he is already coaching in the south. This is big because he understands the kids that come from this area. Clawson I just like his offense.
I believe this is why Cohen hit on we need a guy with an edge and a disciplinarian for our job. It is required, some of the things stated today about Seniors skipping bowl practice thus the suspensions. The photo that has surfaced of Garrett and allowing Gay to play are unacceptable. We need a program that builds boys into men and creates productive members of society. Mullen did this Joe did not and he is gone.

He's never been a head coach. That's a big gamble after Joe. His Patriot League head coaching experience amounted to squat.

Grantham scares me personally as HC. We can't gamble on this hire and hope for the best. We need someone that has a true track record as a head coach. Hiring coordinators with no HC experience is a gamble.

1. Napier
2. Hudspeth
3. Grantham
4. Judge
A few thoughts:
-Napier seems like the perfect fit and I believe he would be a great coach for us. He has been a part of highly successful programs and he has also done it on his own in less historically successful places.
-Hud and Grantham come with absolute risks. But the upside is that when they are successful we won’t have to worry about them leaving every year and we will be able to afford high dollar assistants. Also, toughness will not be a question mark. I think my dream scenario is Hud as HC, Grantham as DC, but I don’t think that is likely (but Todd’s son is coming in for the baseball team so it wouldn’t hurt to ask).
-As a Pats fan Joe Judge really intrigued me. He is an excellent coach and, in fact, has coached the most consistent unit for us this year. But he has all the makings of an NFL guy and recruiting would be too big of a question mark. But he is an MSU guy and a great coach so who knows.

I'd be fine with Napier, Hud, or Grantham. I've kinda already gotten excited and my hopes up on Napier and done some good research which means we won't get him lol
