View Full Version : I think this was handled decently by our administration

It just was not that easy of a situation to handle. As bad we could see we were trending, there is still some obstacles to firing a coach after 2 seasons that went to 2 bowls and won 2 eggs. There are a lot of things that go into these type of moves that we as fans don't have to worry about. Obviously they were torn about it a month ago and decided against it. Joe provided them the answer they needed in the interim. He literally just had to coast into the bowl game without distractions and look halfway decent, not even win. He proved he could not do that and I am glad they pulled the trigger.

The optics and news will blow over quickly. It is funny that national guys are taking shots at MSU for thinking they are bigger than they are, yet here they are talking about us. Hope we make a good hire.

Meh,

Feels to like their ball hit a rock on the cart path & ricocheted onto the green. We'll see if they can make a good hire & get their birdie.

The result is good but the process doesn't feel very repeatable.

The process doesn't "feel" great because everything is based in unfounded rumors and people thinking everything should be done immediately.

Fans write their own narrative, and it's usually only partly accurate.
