Is it in our corner to let them go or not?

Can they seek relief from the NCAA?

What?

We would have to oblige them. You don't want any other issues creeping in right now. I would think that we would keep most of them if not all. Plus we have the creepy ass middle aged Twitter warriors to keep them from backing out.

Tony Hughes is interim HC. If anyone can keep the class together, it's him.

we could lose a couple of kids but I think we are better off than we would have been had we fired Joe before the early signing period

You are not obligated to approve any transfer requests, but it would be stupid to do so if they ultimately decided they only came here to play for JoeMo. Let's just see how our coaching staff evolves and how it all plays out. OM had a lot of players who were talking about transferring, after Luke was fired, and that seems to have changed.

Does GS6 transfer to get away from WG6?

Does Will Rogers ask for a release? He'd rather be at OM.

I'm sure we'd release them at some point, but I'm also sure we aren't releasing anyone till the new coach has a chance to speak to them & sell himself.

Really Clark?

So far the ones who have spoken are staying committed. Including Marks and other high profile players. The angst that many have had over this just doesn’t equal what has normally happened at schools. 1-3 players tops is the norm and I’m not sure we lose more than 1-2...if that.

Exactly. The good thing is our higher profile guys are good with it so far and if they buy in the rest will follow. I'm sure we'll lose 1 or 2 but that's the price of doing business. This change had to be made regardless of its effect on our recruiting class. Who knows we may even pick up a couple of recruits our new HC was recruiting. It's all gonna work out. The biggest part was getting a new HC and that's being done.

You are wrong. Please leave with Moorhead. Bye. You and one or two others are the most negative, nihilistic posters on this board. Please stop.

Early indications are pretty positive. If anything, once the new guy is hired they should feel confident he will be here for at least a few years.

Also, read this in a Ross Dellenger piece "More off-the-field issues crept up in December. A group of players missed bowl practice, and Shrader was involved in a fight during one practice. " Joe definitely needed to go as discipline had clearly escaped the program.....but SHAME on those players for walking all over him too. Missing a bowl practice? WTF

Scooba put me in timeout last spring. He can ban me if he wants.

From the look of things there doesn't look like much fall-out player wise from the coaching change......maybe none!
