Yep, the girls are looking good tonight. Seem to be playing with a little higher interest level since conference play is here.

34 point lead in the 2nd Q. FL must still be worthless in WBB.

Rickea Jackson 16 pts

Rickea Jackson- real deal
Also, Miss. Stata's 6-6 center, Yemiyah Morris...impressive in the first half.

Rickea Jackson got off to a slow start earlier this season but she is definitely more comfortable now and has been for some time now. Rickea and Jordan Danberry are our best scorers and have probably been the most consistent. I like to see Morris giving us good minutes off the bench now in the post because Jessica Carter cant be a one woman show down there, she isnt a dominant Center like Big T so we need Morris and Carter combined to come close to the production T gave us. Myah Taylor had 6 assist so that's not bad but I'm still not 100% sold on her as the starting PG of the future but as long as she doesn't turn it over and can give out those assists, I'm ok with her playing that way.

Miss. State 93
Florida 47
(Starters and other key players off the bench...limited action in the second half)
Jordan Danberry 21 points, 8 assists, 4 steals
Rickea Jackson 20 points, 7 rebounds
Chloe Bibby 13 points, 10 rebounds

Yemiyah Morris is starting to emerge as a factor at center, big upside. More of a true center. Also, she was very impressive for Team USA (Miss. State) in Italy. My opinion, Morris playing well helps make this team a much tougher out moving forward. Just keep listening to Coach. Schaefer, Coach Johnnie Harris, the other coaches...keep learning, gaining experience, getting better. Coach Harris is one of the top post coaches in NCAA Women's Basketball.

Xaria Wiggins is continuing to emerge
off of the bench as well. Big help. Very long, athletic, strong, tough wing. Rebounds, defends, makes plays. Helps a lot in ball pressure.

JaMya Mingo-Young- ball pressure, defense, toughness, physicallity. Heads up player, involved. Coach Schaefer appears to continue to trust her the most out of the freshmen coming off of the bench.
