Was thinking about this:

How will history judge us firing Moorhead?

50 years from now, people will look at his record and ask why? His record is decent.

However, I believe this is the worst coach we've had in my lifetime.

If offered Croom or Moorhead to coach the 2018 roster, I'm taking Croom every day and twice on Sundays.

Croom would've had a more disciplined team and more toughness. Say what you want about Croom, but while he was a bad offensive coach, we never had a culture problem with him. Croom could build culture and I think that allowed Mullen to build quickly.

Whoever the new coach is at MSU, he'll have to clean up some leadership and culture issues first.

Moorehead inherited an incredibly talented team and in his 2 years has continued to squander that talent. we lost our identity under him we used to be the team that even if we were not the best we tried our best and played hard that is the team became a fan of and this season I didn't see that team. I feel like anybody would have been better I mean bad play-calling is one thing but a soft culture just isn't the Mississippi way.

They both had snakes in their heads. Moorhead more so than Croom . IMO

Yes we did not exactly get worse under Croom, he just couldn't get an offense going and part of that was talent. We have digressed at a record pace under Moorehead. I would argue few coaches have digressed a team so fast.

Croom's players would break the will of Moorhead's players.

We would have accomplished more with Chad Morris. Joe may be the most underachieving P5 coach since Brady Hoke.

Croom because I didn’t hate him. I hate Moorhead.

If Moorhead was the coach of Croom's teams, I actually think he would've done worse than 21-38.

Croom is worse. Joe didn't lose to Maine.La Tech-, UAB or a Tulane team decimated by Katrina. Time has made some of Y'all forget the shittiness of Sly.

Yep, talent was dismal in the Croom years.

I think that if you gave Croom the 2018 team he would have won at least 1-2 more games with the same players.

Croom all day every day. His teams had their faults obviously but he actually had games where we showed up, played hard, and beat decent to better teams than us.

I know a couple guys that played for him that hated him. However the vast majority of his players that I know and respect absolutely love him and think that the fan base doesn?t understand the shit show he inherited and how he got us back on track.

I?m just hoping our next coach isn?t inheriting a similar shit show
