The thing about us is we are not consistent with our effort. We just seem to sleepwalk at times. It's happened at every game I've watched and been pretty bad at the ones I've been to, this one included. I'm not sure we have any one that has stepped up into Q's leadership role on the court.

I haven't watched enough other SEC teams to know really. My gut felling is we will have to play with more consistent effort to have much chance here, much less on the road.

No idea. I'm not that knowledgeable about the x and o of basketball to say. I've was a season ticket holder for 25 years though. I've watched a LOT of basketball at the Hump. We went to nearly ever game during those years.

Yea .. I've been a Howland supporter. Not off the train yet and we're a long ways from where we were but I just don't understand how we can be so lethargic so much of the time. Hell, even when we win we look lethargic half the time.

I hate to say it ... but Howland used to be a lot more like Pearl before UCLA. Now ... and I really hate to say this ... he is more like Joe. Giving us good stats all the time and "ho-hum" about the level of effort. At least that's how it's coming across to me.

He had a very good game. That team was not helpless down low. They had a couple of BIG guys that could play.
