I think Clemson picked up some momentum last night after a very sleepy season. They have the horses and coaches to beat LSU. Will be tough in New Orleans though.

I don't see how you could do that at this point. Lawrence obviously a franchise guy but Burrow checks pretty much every box to be a big time NFL QB.

His accuracy and pocket presence/awareness are just so damn good.

I?m not overlooking Clemson but LSU has the best resume ever. Undefeated in SEc, won at BAmA, prison raped their semi-final opponent.

Plus LSUs coaching and culture are off the charts good as well.

Clemson is a real championship type team They have a great offense and, unlike Oklahoma, a great defense too. LSU had already played several teams better than Oklahoma. They have not played one better than Clemson.

Burrow is the better QB- he is completing damn near 80% of his passes after playing 5 top 15 teams this year. Burrow is the most sure-fire pro prospect I've seen Marino and Elway came out.

Nah, Clemson is going to score a lot against LSU. This is the exact offense that hung nearly 100 against Bama last year. OSU had the 5th ranked defense in the country. LSU is 29th. They are going to score early and often against LSU.

While I want Ogre & Burrow to win Natty, I think Clemson wins this game.

They're top 3 in Total O & Total D. LSU is 29th in Total D. That's not a good omen. I will say Aranda and his guys have stepped up some in last 3 or so games, but they weren't playing offensive juggernauts either ... except maybe Okie is a tad of an elite tier offensive team. But Hurts is still just a one read QB for the most part. Lawrence is a different animal.

I also think LSU is facing the best D they've faced all year. They'll score but I don't see more than 40. And I do think Clemson will hang a few themselves on LSU.

LSU?s defensive strategy is to hold, line up in the neutral zone and have their players fake being hurt after a big play to break any momentum. In other words like like all coonasses cheat first.
