Love our baseball team.

As great as the run was last year, I haven't heard anyone involved with our baseball team settling for runner-up. You can tell they got a taste of it last year, but the drive is now stronger than ever to win big. It's really a reflection of Cohen and the type of people he's brought into the program and developed.

..the MSU squad was rewarded a souvenir (ring) for being the 2nd best college baseball team in the country.

Those rings were hard-earned & accetping them is a source of pride.

You will not like hearing this but the 'pussification of America" meme that is so popular here does not fit our baseball team ring situtation. Your crap sounds like something a preacher would say. Which is why I hate preachers.

I agree our team worked hard, im not saying something was not deserved but a huge diamond ring that looks like a championship ring is over the top. I bet your kid gets trophy's for competing huh?

Some of them seem to have a chip on their shoulder because we came in second and not first. I think it's great

not if you LOSE the bowl game... And yes on banner because you WON the west. We didn't WIN the national championship.. if we wanted to give them regional rings or super regional rings then fine we won it, but don't give a ring for losing anything.

Come on man. They accomplished something no one ever thought we would see in our life time -- playing for a NC in a major sport.

They are not suddenly going to become complacent because they got these rings. They deserve them, and they will stay hungry until they win the title.

Look again, those are Regional championship rings. That's what I saw.

If you look at the sides of the ring it indicates both the Regional and SuperRegional wins not the National Championship Runner up.

Runner up is just first loser... Great accomplishment but it is what it is. The rings do commemorate the two post season championships we won so no foul imo

The key to success is hard work and dedication. Our boys had both and should be rewarded as I for one and extremely proud of them... but the only ring I want to receive is a championship ring. My $0.02.
