Arizona State gave the starting job to a legacy player of the Zendejas family after an injury to Ruiz.

This kid's bio is pretty legit - also a Army All American as a high school player

In 2018 at ASU he went 18-22 and 45/45 on XPs

Additionally, he had 48 touchbacks in 78 kickoffs.

Sneaky good sign here. Could solve our kickoff issues by just being able to kick it in the end zone.

That's a 78yd kickoff. Not a 78yd FG. Yes it was straight and actually went through the goalposts, but anyway I guess I'm splitting hairs.

Kickoffs are off tees which rlly helps, opposed to the kick being off the actual ground

Except he kicked it with a two step approach and not a 10 yard run up to the ball. But still, it was aided by a 10-20mph wind to his back. Assuming he is not a head case, he should really help us.

Just wait till he gets coached up by our special teams coaches.
