Do your time in the state system, get your retirement and get an academy gig. Not too shabby

No shit- Pogue is pulling down over 100K per year now between retirement and salary. Good for him

He will make 65-70K or so is my guess. Could be a little more. He is a good defensive coach and should do a good job.

Good for him. They have been down a while.

Calling Pogue a good defensive coach is a farce. I’ve never seen a coach suck the life out of a team like him. Good luck to JA. Just my opinion, but I played for him for a year. Couldn’t hold the jock strap that held Ted Taylor’s left nut.

Jackson Academy is in a tough situation. Several potential players live in Madison. With MRA becoming a viable option for Madison residents and the normal amount that Jackson Prep gets from NE Jackson the talent pool for football has become much smaller.
