What is the correct iPhone setting to prevent the punctuation butchering that occurs on this website. ?Example of butchering?

Is there a setting? I thought it was just a glitch.

I always use my MacBook Pro ... iPhone is too small to read and type on for me, and I have a Plus. The laptop/iMac doesn't have the punctuation issue.

There is a setting. I changed it at some point per instruction from a poster on this board just can?t find the thread. I reset all my settings recently and lost whatever it was that I changed.

Will I notice any changes anywhere else when toggling that setting off?
