I love brees, and he would've been great whenever he played, but the nfl has become much, much more pass friendly. Montana, elway, young, Marino, etc and their WRs has it much tougher in their era

I don't know that they suck any worse than ever, we just all now can watch a HD frame-by-frame replay from multiple cameras synced together on our phone sitting in the shitter to see every minute detail beyond what is capable of being seen by the naked eye, so we already think they "miss" calls regularly, then when something egregious goes wrong, we all have social media/message boards/instantaneous texting to bitch about it.
