I'm interested to see who they hire at OC and DC. They're obviously following the LSU/Coach O model and I think that could be a good way to go for them. Going to be a rebuild either way.

Barry Odom as DC has been mentioned several time on the Ark board. They have plenty of money to build a good staff. He is a great fit and will hang with Ark as long as they will have him. I don't think he would have gone to Ga except he saw where Big Bret B was heading. His parents live in Mo.

Odom would be a really solid hire for them. I've heard that Memphis is interested in Odom and Chip Long though.

No. They named their safety coach their new DC after Foster finishes with the bowl game.

It’s definitely an...unorthodox hire. But wasn’t Dabo hired as a WR coach? Our players loved him when he was here and if he never left for Georgia I think Bielema eventually works out at Arkansas. Best recruiter and OL coach in college football IMO. Definitely need to give him a lot of money for assistants since he has a lot of SEC connections. We obviously struck out on some guys but seeing what Coach O is doing with LSU probably thought we could do something similar. All we need is someone to stabilize the program, not win the SEC or anything.
