I don't think the SEC Office will or can actually tell a SEC school that they can't hire Freeze, but they can tell them that it would not be in their best interest to do so. Which I believe that was what they told Bama, when Saban was considering hiring Freeze.

Probably so but if it wasn't worth it for Alabama I can't imagine it would be worth it for Arkansas. My guess is the SEC is afraid that it's going to come out that the prostitutes were actually for recruits. Which in the eyes of the law would be worse than if they were for Freeze. I suspect the truth is they were for both.

Heck, if I were Freeze I'd just stay at Liberty for awhile and try to turn them into the Southern Baptist Notre Dame and forget it.

Jackson is getting paid by the Cleveland Browns and any money by a college contract will probably get prorated? Why do colleges recycle garbage when there is so much potential? This is exactly my point. Both MSU and OM have miss identified receipts that end up doing well at lower tier schools. No different than MSU or OM picking up kids that LSU and Bama miss identifies. How many years has Jackson been employed in the NFL even though his Cleveland stint did not go well. I still believe that Jackson would be an upper tiered hire in a Power 5 program. How many years has Jackson been an offensive coordinator? Just hire a good DC and you might be cooking in a Power 5 program?
