Sorry to interrupt the Lane Kiffin love-fest, but there's a battle currently going on. UGA had opportunities to strike early but couldn't cash them in. LSU and Burrow with the ball now

KOdawg1

Edwards-Helaire always makes the first guy miss. Every time.

KOdawg1

Georgia's offense sucks. This one won't be close at the end.

Well ... LSU not getting benefit of Bama rules. Bama don't get facemasks called against them in championship games.

Helps when 77 held the shit out of UGAs DL.

Fromm looks terrible. Missed 3 wide open receivers already

KOdawg1

Wow. Edwards-Helaire fumbles it and UGA has the ball deep in LSU territory

Well the only way UGA wins is if LSU gives it away.

Georgia has dropped a huge gain and fromm missed a huge play. Georgia isn't going away

Gonna have to come from Fromm's arm. Swift can't do it by himself

Yo boy Fromm better tighten up.

Yo boy Fromm better tighten up.

He's gonna have to. Unfortunately for Jake, he ain't got LSU's receivers. Alabama and LSU WRs are freaking ridiculous. Tua and burrow are good, but they have elite, elite weapons.

dawgday166
12-07-2019, 05:01 PM
Tru dat. And his best one is out for a half.

ETA: He still don't need to miss wide open WRs tho.

LSU is simply the better coached team and it's not close. The level of execution by each position group seems cleaner, their O is much faster and more precise than UGAs, the gameplan and adjustments are better, the O has some really creative play designs that are -again- well executed, and they have better organization as evidenced by UGA's 12 men on the field giving LSU a free play.

UGA has the slightly better D, a slightly better kicker, and better RB's, but their OL and WRs are worse and Fromm just hasn't looked confident to me under this new OC. Last 2 years he seemed quicker with decisions and have better footwork, the few games I've seen him in this year he seems skidish which imo is a sign he doesn't know what's going on schematically as well.

Shoutout to Shotgun for saying Burrow is a "game manager" who "doesn't scare him". I actually don't blame him at all for that take when he said it, but it's funny to look back on in hindsight

Gun's initial assessment is ALWAYS the correct one. He's always laughing at what the other teams do with coaches and QBs.

He has 2 epic predictions/proclamations this season: Tommy better passer than dak and the cowboys at 14-2 bc they hammered the giants and redskins

So a helmet to helmet hit with Delpet leading with his helmet which actually hurt and dazed the QB isn’t called for targeting? This crew is laughable.

He didn't lead with helmet and very light contact at that when Fromm tried to avoid the big hit. Good no call there.

He led with the helmet and concussed the QB. That is what the definitive reason to call a targeting call is all about. Fromm was concussed.

No he didn't. I replayed it 3 times on my DVR. His head was upright not lowered. And the holding you called out earlier ... that was legal too.

I agree that there is collusion to some extent by SEC to get a desired result ... but they been taking a lot of heat and especially last year for that. I think this year they may be playing it mostly straight up in crucial games. I know LSU game was straight up and if anything ... SEC made sure there couldn't be a "Bama gets calls" argument in that one. I was very surprised too.

And to add something ... if anything they should be favoring Ga to get 2 teams in CFP.

He did lead with the helmet. He wasn’t straight up he was moving forward and made a direct helmet hit. It used to be a legal football hit but these days it is not.

It will be a very bleak situation for them if that all happens. And odds are in that favor. When pick happened ... that's a lot of time for Burrow ... even tho he sucks *

Not arguing that but ... if they calling it square (with same standards for both sides) then I give them credit for that. You know ... the refs ain't inherently against every team you're pulling for.

In college .. he better than Marino was. But he also has more talent around him too. I've always thought Marino an overrated QB too.

Georgia has a great d but this LSU offense is one of the best of all time and it is showing. They take yards available and keep chugging.

Burrow makes it tick though not sure how u replace him.

Guys...I watched part of the first half and a couple minutes in second......Georgia’s receivers look as incompetent as the “DOGS”......and that really is a slap in the face to Georgia.......how many dropped passes can you have in a championship game???!!!! On the other side.....do you guys notice how LSU receiver catch with their “hands” and not the body......how difficult is it too teach college receivers to do that????

On a text thread with a bunch of UGA guys. They left the game ten minutes ago. Made the same comment that their 5 star receivers looked like MSU's. They are very butthurt.

If you've got the #1 pick in the NFL draft, don't you draft Burrow and hire Brady as OC.

Why would you make Burrow learn a new offense?

LSU is the most balanced team in the country this year. Will be surprised if they get beat.
