100% agree. Whoever OM hires would have to be stupid to not retain Peeler, but if they were to want to bring in their own guy, you make sure Peeler is on our staff for sure. Highly doubt he's going to go looking to move on his own unless the new hire doesn't plan on retaining him.

That should be one thing that the OM AD says to any head coaching candidates is that we want to keep one of our assistant coaches on your staff. That might muddy the water on a particular hire, but I believe unless I was going to keep running a Rich Rod offense, I would take the gamble.

If Moorhead isn't already talking to Peeler then we're already behind. We need to strike now while there's uncertainty. Him and Tony Hughes recruiting together......we'd get any in state kid we want.
