Go back and watch the Egg Bowl replay and check out the block he laid on the OM defender on Garrett's long run.

Also, it came out that he told Garrett to pull the ball on the 2nd TD. The OM defense was keying on him.

Besides being the top rusher in the SEC, Kylin finished the regular season as the #12 rusher (235 carries / 1347 yds) nationally per the NCAA stats. 5* Cam Akers finished 25th on the NCAA list. Looks like we got the better part of that deal. The #1 rusher in the country was the beast from Okey State (Hubbard) with 309 carries / 1936 yards... damn.

Well he's not a good pass blocker. But he did block good on that one play. He's a great guy w the ball, but he's not a good blocker. Just a fact. But congrats to him. He deserved the award.

I will say our marketing Dept has done a terrible job making it known he leads the league in rushing. Terrible.

Great News!!! What are the chances he stays or tests the NFL waters?

I could see him being really productive in New England or another similar offense. I say NE because it seems like Belichick takes guys like this and makes them productive professionals. Let's say Bill knows how to utilize his assets?

Yep. A decent bowl game rushing and he'll break the MSU single season record. As far as Mississippi FBS schools, Kylin is 239 yards behind Damion Fletcher of USM who had 1,586 yards in 2007. Kylin already has more yards than the OM single season rushing champ.

100% agree.

With the new NCAA pay to play laws coming marketing is going to become more important than ever. Money needs to be funneling into that department currently. Not cutting it.
