Bowl games from a financial aspect

Is a mid tier bowl any better financially than another. I know payouts differ but are we better off in the Texas bowl instead of the Gator Bowl.

Yes to the conference then redistribution to the member schools. Minus expenses.

Texas is almost double Gator - but yes, it goes to the Conference and then is re-allocated. I think travel expenses are covered first though.
