I will say most of the recruits have been very vocal and supportive of him. At least we got that

Yeah he's no offensive guru so far but I'll give him this, he's a much better recruiter than Mullen. Seems Mullen produced on the field to get recruits. Moorehead off the field does. If only we could get an QB/offensive guy in here to help Joe get his act together with what works with the players and opponents we have, we could turn this around. I'm hopefully but not holding my breath

The best hope for Joe is that he can eventually bring in enough good players to overcome his head coaching and be leaders.

That's basically what happened with Les Miles and Ed Orgeron.

You do realize that recruiting in state LSU has virtually no competition?

No what happened with Ed O is he brought in better coaching around him to make him appear to be a better coach. I have to say that is not a bad strategy but some coaches have to much ego to do allow that.

He was comparing our situation and what happened to Les Miles and O. LSU can do that fairly easily MSU not so much.
