Texas coach Tom Herman: "After taking time, looking back and evaluating the season in its totality, I am very disappointed in our performance in a number of areas in 2019," Herman said. "7-5 will never be our standard at Texas and I take full responsibility for any and all of our shortcomings and know we need to do a better job coaching across the board. With that said, I do believe the future is very bright, have decided to make some changes to our staff as we head into bowl preparation and look to finish strong in the final weeks of fall recruiting."

He should be fired even more than Joe. What a joke of a coach he is...

Last year, Texas won 10 games and their 4 losses were by a combined 21 points (includes a 12-point loss to Oklahoma in the big12 championship game). They also beat Georgia in the sugar bowl. He's about to wrap up another top 5-7 class. This year was awful, but he deserves another year imo. Hopefully they go get Brady from lsu

A lot of their issues this year was that their defense was atrocious. You think we tackled poorly at times? They were Simeon level bad.

That said we should take a look at Tim Beck, the outgoing OC. Unclear how much he really did or if Herman called the offense

Hopefully Texas makes LSU pay 3 million a year/each to keep Brady and aranda

Lsu is the better job, sometimes money isn't the deciding factor especially for an assistant coach who has goals becoming a HC one day.

Herman will be on the hot seat next year.

Yes, their glory days seem to have "look away look away". Their fan base is ridiculous, arrogant beyond belief.
