Telling my age I know, but I’ll always remember the 1971 Gator Bowl with Pat and Archie as dueling quarterbacks. Archie played with a broken arm, and don’t think Vaught could be there due to a recent health problem. Great game! Auburn won, but if memory serves me correctly, it was close. Remember the announcers couldn’t praise SEC football enough.
