Now that the name came out in the other thread. What are yalls opinion of the guy? Alot of interest in getting back into college and apparently was able to line-up some great candidates for OC. Being from the south is no doubt an improvement for us culture wise but I think he would be a very interesting hire.

Honestly, I know nothing about him. On the surface, this strikes me as a typical John Cohen “I’m smarter than you are” type of hire. What I read on him is that most were surprised that he didn’t get fired after 2018.

Well I mean he grew up in the south and was no doubt influenced by the SEC in one way or another. I think that he would be more relatable than Moorhead already especially when including his resume in the NFL. On paper you'd think he would have alot of sway with defensive recruits from any state.

I've been a Panther fan for 25 years. He was demoted for his calls at the end of last season and is DC in name only. Ron Rivera is the defacto DC. He is a good DLine coach, but no way would I want him as our HC.
