Ortiz is red hot. I wish one of the braves' hitters would come up big in the postseason

At this point they need to get his pitch count up and try to get him out of the game.

Ross and Ellsbury with RBI hits. 3-1 Sox in the b7th and Lester is at 75 pitches. Looking like a complete game is in the works. Cards are in trouble.

And if he does his job with the next 6 guys he doesn't have to see Holliday

Uehara is Greg Maddox good right now. What a find by the Sox after they lost both Hanhrahan and Bailey early this year. Sox win 3-1 and take a 3-2 lead in the series going home for game 6. Cards have Wacha pitching. Wacha dominates and we'll see game 7.

He's always had these numbers. Orioles and Rangers messed up.

How many teams in baseball history have won the WS with their #3 option at Closer? None.

Last night there were people who blamed Hammer (Chris Maloney) for the cardinal baserunner getting picked off first. Blame the idiot runner.

Or give credit to the pitcher for making a great move
