Go look at the records of the teams we have beaten and do the same for them. They have not beaten a team with a winning record, we have beaten three. Also look at the non common opponents both have lost to. That one is closer but they have lost to a team with a losing record, we haven't. The w-l record against common opponents is identical.

It will come down to if State can move the ball on OMs defense. State has to move the chains and eat up clock and finish drives. This will limit OMs possessions and Plumlees opportunities. Plumlee will get his yards unfortunately.

Also, will Stevens come out nervous or can he protect the ball and field position to get off to a good start.

I think it comes down to the first quarter. If they close their drives and not mess up any special teams in the first quarter they will win. However I don't think they have had a good 1st quarter since the KY game.

He survived the only 3 good defenses they played all year. He would be fine. This idea that the SEC is just full of amazing defenses is hilariously inaccurate. Over half of the conference is complete trash on defense.

How will I find out Thursday? You said they would have won 2 games they have already lost. I said I doubted that. There is no way we will EVER find that out. Now he may beat us, he may not. Nobody seems to have noticed that the only thing I have actually said about the game is no outcome would surprise me.

You can never predict what will happen in the Egg Bowl before hand. I've learned over the years nothing is ever a given in this game. One team can come in playing well and rolling and the other team playing like crap and the team playing like crap win. There's just no way to tell based on the season how this game will ever play out.

Vegasinsider isn't a line. I'm not exactly sure how they calculate an open, but I'd guess it's the avg of the 6-7 casinos they list
