Miss. State women move up to #1 in the nation in scoring offense (104.8 points per game). Oregon is listed #2 at 99 points per game.

Also, Miss. State is #9 in the nation in forced turnovers per game (26 per game). They are getting a lot of points off of these turnovers as well. Just need to work out a few aspects of other areas of the defense, including consistency.....team definitely has the athletes, talent, and depth defensively.

- Offense is very explosive, good scoring options throughout roster. They score in a variety of ways.
- Strength of the defense is forcing, and scoring off of opponents turnovers. Also, size, and defending the low post.
- Defense hasn't reached near it's potential.
- Same for the team as a whole (including 4 freshmen, 3 transfers...1 sitting out)
- Coaching staff is very capable. Additionally, Coach Schaefer is a noted defensive specialist.

Wonder if Coach Schaefer would like a part time job coaching football for two weeks

Yea because WBB and Football would be such an easy transition. He would have the program turned around in 2 weeks. smh

What's sad is some people really think Vic could coach any team on campus and be successful.

Meant as a joke. Guess I forgot the ** But I will say with the discipline he would provide, he would probably be better than what we have

Literally no one thinks that. But the style and habits that Vic exhibits every day as a coach are what makes him successful. You can't be these kids' friend like Joe tries to be. It literally never works. Maybe at Fordham, but not in the SEC.

Did you see Vic's press conference the other night? We hung 120 on Troy and ran them off the floor. Vic was pissed because not everyone showed up for shoot around before the game. He said he was tempted to play the four that did show up and start the game without a fifth player on the court. That's the type of hard ass we need as our football coach. No shit, Vic couldn't coach our football team, but we need someone that's a hard ass like him.

I wish the football coach had the same demeanor.

Let me re-phrase it then. No one with common sense thinks that.
