According to the IB himself, he has never used an agent at any level of his career. The question is, do you think this helps us or hurts us with hiring a new coach and or negotiating extensions etc.
My take is that it hurts us. Those guys do it all day everyday, and you've gotta think you could learn something from them along the way. Of course, one could argue that there is a benefit from having someone that's always negotiated on their own behalf.
