This D2 team is good. They for real look better than half the teams we play in a given year. Struggling to defend them right now. You can tell we have an incredibly young team.

I’m worried about this team as I don’t like the way some of our deficiencies stack up. For example:

1. This is the least talented defensive team we’ve had in a while. We struggled in transition D last year and I think that will be the case again

2. We have a leadership void and I’m not sure who will take up that mantle

3. We have a lot of one trick ponies on the offensive end. Andi and Bibby are basically 3pt specialist. Taylor seems really limited in the offensive, Danberry is only good from about 10ft out and the freshmen are going to struggle and use their feet well

We are still going to be good but I just don’t see how we march last years effort

We lacked that finesse of last year. We looked really messy and all over the place. Some of that is because of the constant subbing in and out.

Bibby looked much further along than I expected. Myah had no TOs but struggled to finish at the rim. Carter scored at will. Overall, the offense looked stagnant. Not sure what we were trying to do there.

Worry about the men's teams.....we have a real coach in Women's BB it was an exhibition game for gods sake. We played everyone it will be different starting with Southern /Miss. Will we go undefeated no! Will we be there at the end....bet on it!

Idk about least talented. Maybe young, but there are 4 and 5 star players all over this roster. Young maybe, but talent will not be an issue

It's hard for freshmen to learn D. It honestly takes a few years for a team to develop defensive chemistry.

We’re super young, and our two best returning players are still rusty after not having played for a while. Be patient with this team. Probably won’t be quite as good as the last few years, but they’ll still be good and the future is incredibly bright for this group.

irondog---Bibby not only is a great shooter but She rebounds and is a great defender. E-H is a great weapon and plays decent defense. Jackson will be our Player that can create a shot anytime. jackson and Danbury will be match up nightmares for everyone. And Carter is our most improved player -plus She can hit a jumper. Taylor will continue to get better and She is a good on ball defender. So don't worry about this team.

It dawned on me that all of our starters (except Bibby) are 5 stars. We don't know what star Bibby would have been, so I won't count her. Additionally, our backup PG and first off the bench are 5 stars.

I may be but Howland has not impressed me since he has been here. Never said he was a bad coach just underachieved with his resume! That's why the hump is empty for men's games. I gave up my seats a while back.
