These are high character players that play hard and smart with a team first attitude. They are well coached and organized and a joy to watch. This is what I wish State could strive for and put on the field.

Strangely enough, the Ivy League teams are of the same caliber and they are enjoyable games..watched a few on Friday nights

Ivy League is in no way like the military academies. And we could copy that military academy approach and we’d lose every SEC game.

It's hard to compete at a high level when you have those types of kids.

Stanford & Notre Dame have pulled it off on occasion, but that about it. Lots of reasons why that I'm not going to delve into.

Just don't expect us to be any good with that type of team
