I honestly don't know why people still keep up with a pitchers W/L record. It's pretty much universally regarded as a BS stat that has more to do with your team's offense than your actual pitching performance. Even people who don't agree with sabremetrics acknowledge that W/L is stupid for pitchers.

If Lackey was going to pitch he needed to start an inning clean. Also who knows how taxed Tazawa was. And as they just said it allowed Napoli to hit third in the 9th. I liked the move.
