My favorite Gene memory is one time people were criticizing Monta Ellis for going pro instead of going to State... Gene said everyone should be careful because they might be working for Monta one day. I can't remember what poster said it, but someone responded to Gene and said "Maybe he'll open a mullet wig shop one day and you can work for him." I don't know if that story holds up all these years later, but at the time it was damn funny and I still chuckle picturing Gene working at a mullet wig shop owned by former NBA star Monta Ellis.

Not the absolute worst take. I personally have him in the Mason, Morris, Luke, Pruitt pile. But you can make an argument that he belongs in the Stoops, Muschamp, Odom pile.

ETA: SEC has some real turdburgers. We need to get off cycle and not be hiring a new coach next year when UTK, OM, Ark definitely will be and SCar, UK, Mizzou likely could be. Do it this year where the only competition is Auburn if they are dumb and Vandy.

You know as much as he and steve rip the ole miss media for homerism and propoganda, they are just as bad at the propaganda media. unless they are trying to help git rid of moorhead and make him look good to Rutgers or BC. some propaganda is good when we want favorable reporting, but when it comes to Moorhead fluffing him to the fan base to make him look better is bad. Part of me thinks Cohen is still trying to make Moorhead look better to the fan base since Moorhead has been criticized so much. I hope he isn't taking us for sheep. Between this and the videos MSU has been putting out with Moorhead speeches, kind of makes me mad at the athletic department thinking we aren't smart enough to see the crap on the field and what's going on.
