Has Joe passed Croom to be the worst coach in State history?

Almost started this thread earlier in the week.

Croom would have won more than 8 games with last yrs team.

It’s not even close. Croom was bad but his players gave him much better effort

Really Clark?

Joe losing 4 straight will be first time since Croom 2004 & 2005 seasons losing that many games in a row

Maybe Joevester was more of an insult to Croom..

Yes. He has passed him. I never thought that to be possible but Joe said “hold my beer”. Croom was better.

Crook could actually get his team to play hard in big games. And we always had hope for an upset like Florida or Bama.

Why is this even a question? SloMo the clown was handed a 10 win guaranteed team and only won 8. Crooms was never handed a double digit team with the best defense in the land. SloMo is not even Slytanic level. Let that sink in.

I said it last year after watching UL, FL and Auburn games. SloMo saw what worked and never went back to it. We should do the same.

Joe is the worst MSU coach I've seen since Sherrill.

Comparing Croom & him is tough due to the circumstances of the program when they took over. However, I'll always blame the guy that ran the train off the tracks before blaming the guy that had to build a train.

This program shows no pulse

Had Croom just ran a basic offense he would have won 6 or 7 games a year. We never would have gotten Mullen though.

How about Shira.

To a large degree, I blame Croom from being from a different era. He simply didn't know what a spread offense even was.

Moorhead doesn't have those excuses

This is the statement I made a couple weeks ago and upset a few...but it seems to have aged well:

The list of coaches that would have won 8 or less games with last years team is short...Croom isn’t on that list

But he knew toughness and character were important and needed to be coached

What do you mean since Sherrill? JWS is one of the best we’ve ever had. Changed our program and expectations.

Agree. In some way he set Mullen up fairly well

Our next coach will have some "cleaning up" to do that Mullen didn't have to

Since he Sherrill era started. Sorry I miss wrote that.

I should've said, he's the worst coach I've seen since 1990

Well I don’t know what this says...

But Croom pissed me off less than Joe does.

Because Croom wasn?t handed an 8 win minimum team for 4 years. Any assclown could have won 8 games in 2018 and 2019 with this roster. Any football coach would have won 10 games in 2018, and had to try hard not to win more.

Croom had the respect of his players and many of the fans respected him as a leader and person. Jomo has lost the team and no one else respects him either. It is a dishonor to Croom to call JoMo Jovester as Croom at least was a leader. JoMo is the worst coach that I have seen at MSU since before Tyler.
