View Full Version : Why so Many OL Injuries This Year?

Rosebowl said on the Boneyard yesterday that Reese and Eiland likely wouldn't play.

I've seen Williams get hurt in every game this season.

Parker missed some time as well.

What gives here? I realize OL will just get hurt sometimes, but it's gotten ridiculous thus far this year.

Can anyone remember a year with this many OL injuries and does anyone have a theory as to why there are so many?

Have no idea unless it is the old S&C comments on here, but I would think that MIGHT have something to do with our lack of offense....not all but some.

Probably just bad luck

I think 2013 was like that. Wasn't that the year our OTs were a converted DL and TE?

Because our coaches have let us become a weak and soft program. Fordahm levels of conditioning don't cut it in the SEC.

Injuries happen, S&C play somewhat a part but mostly it's football. Luck counts to be injury free while contact is involved.

Williams goes down every game

Every single game. It's absurd.

I'm sure Williams just has had bad luck, playing hurt ain't fun and I give the big guy some credit for doing this.

Really Clark?

James Carmen was 2011. I think Warren transitioned in 2014 from TE

Just an opinion but here goes, Wr don?t practice in Pads much, our Strength and Conditioning is obviously not up to par with the rest of this league, and our Offensive System is finesse which breads a lack of toughness. That?s a recipe for injuries.

Part of S&C is injury prevention. Do with that what you will.

DW's hand was intentionally stomped on by a UT defender in Knoxville.

Yeah. Absurd.

He came out of every game before then though as well

You never have a player's back.

You never give any Bulldog player the benefit of the doubt.

You're an extreme antagonist.

Get a life.
