Can you point me to your favorite resource for historical football scores including who was favored in each game? I'd like to do my own deep dive, but all the historical score sites I've looked at only show win/loss.

Thanks!

Look to the left at their database and you can enter two teams and answer a few boxes and it give you what you are looking for I believe.

Thanks. Best I can tell it goes back to 2016. Any older sources? Anyone?

Hmm. Goes back longer if I limit the month. Thanks, I'll try to use this!

Here's a spreadsheet with most scores and spreads from 1978 to present. A couple things... (1) Bowl games are only listed beginning in 2009, and (2) the neutral site column isn't accurate until 2014. But the scores and spreads are good.

edit - the id column just tells you whether the favorite covered, or the underdog, or if it was a push.

This is neat to look at but it has no bearing on a potential outcome of a game now.

My interest was coaches' records when favored, not in looking for trends.
