Brett Venables isn't leaving Clemson. He's happy there and his family is happy there. Shockingly enough, some people know they don't wanna be a HC so they never do it. And maybe Kiffin is what we need. He doesn't bow to anyone and says whatever he feels like. We need someone who doesn't care who he pisses off. That personality used to describe our current AD.....not so much anymore.

I would CONSIDER Kiffen as OC with a defensive minded head coach; ala, Grantham or someone of that caliber that could keep him reined in "to some degree". Because reining in Kiffen completely is not going to happen. No way as a head coach. You don't want that to be the face of your program.

Problem is and I'm always caught off guard by this but his real personality in person a bit of a dud. He's terrible on his feet and really struggles with the media in person.

Twitter has been his best friend though because he can completely think things out before saying anything. Thus allowing him to take on a personality that is different from reality.
