Does anyone know what our game week practices look like?

Seriously, can someone come forward...? I'm just trying to understand how so much unlearning and softening can happen in two weeks, or just in general.

I still can't believe we just lost to Tennessee and Coach Spear Grass. Is this real? Is it practice? It's like an episode of Twilight Zone but it won't end and there's no cutting the tv off.

It is hard to imagine how fast a moron can unravel all the good that the program was built on. Toughness. Effort. Etc. it takes a special kind of loser to do that.

I've heard Guidry looks like Jerry Rice, Hill looks like Roger Craig (with some Emmitt Smith thrown in), and Stevens looks like Joe Montana. That's why we always have a "good week of practice" ... Whatever TF that means in this case.

I do know this - ******* scrimmages we?re not for children....when player screwed, they got swift, immediate feedback - usually with language that would make a sailor blush. Hevesy was the best - it was painful sometimes to watch - but it got the point across. It?s like training a dog - the lesson has to be harsh at times.

Jeff Collins cussed so much at a scrimmage years ago that Mullen made him go from table to table apologizing to people who were present (many of which were family members).

Going to a closed scrimmage this year - very different, no screaming - very laid by coaching style. Not a single cuss word was heard....

Our own players have said it is soft. We never hardly do any inside run and its never 1s on 1s. When a former player gets on twitter who played for both Mullen and Moorhead says its time for a change you know it is bad. They knew it was going soft from the jump. A current player has told me it was going downhill he knew we were going to be bad

That's right Bob ... you in minority. And as Joe has said administrators, coaches, and people in that community are really excited about what he's putting in place here. I imagine those SECW coaches are besides themselves in their excitement.

And I imagine those SECE coaches probably despise what Mullen is doing in FL too. They all want FL to be pretty darn good and it ain't happening.

I don't see there has to be cussing to be a successful coach, but you do need to be in control, have a well prepared and disciplined team, and put the right players in situations that give you the best opportunity to win. I don't really see that happening now.
