Leach wanted the Tennessee job. He was scheduled to interview for it and word leaked back to upper Tennessee echelon so they fired the AD while he was on his way to Washington to talk to Leach. Gotta think Leach's team caught word of this too and they're going through a breakup right now. I think this is Leach's last year there and won't be surprised if he's at somewhere like Arkansas next year.

Leach is a gimmick that wouldn't work in the SEC. He knows that, which is why it never seems to work out for him for SEC jobs. I have no doubt several SEC programs, us included, would be stupid enough to hire him. The only trouble is he seems to be smart enough not to get trapped into taking an SEC job.
