1) Jason Croom and Rajion Neal sightings, as usual. Those two guys sum up recrootin for us. No matter how good we get, most out of state guys will still choose the big boys over us, not matter how bad they suck at the time.

2) Nick Schuessler sighting on the Clemson sideline.

3) When will Kevin Norwood graduate and quit making me sick as I watch MS talent win national championships for Alabama?

4) Josh Dobbs is apparently the new starting QB at Tennessee. Some of you may remember him as the QB that we banked everything on all season last year only to lose out as typical. See #1.

5) David Cutcliffe doing it big in Blacksburg. Bwa ha ha Ole Miss.

Boosters lost those battles- not the coaching staff.

Schuessler wasn't much of a loss IMO though. He was just bait.

He was signed because we missed on yet another QB. Who was it that year?

Was it Goldilocks? I know he was close to being our current 3rd string QB.

Isn't Dobbs more of a TR though? I always thought he'd be a good QB but seemed to not fit what Dan really wants to do which is what we're seeing with Dak (for th 1st half of games anyway)

These numbers are approximately matching Russell's passing output last year(would break all our previous passing records) -- as a true freshman that we didn't bother recruiting until it was very late in the process -- and that we failed to flip from Houston.

We should've left Dobbs alone and concentrated on o'korn. Dobbs was a longshot, but o'korn could've been had IMO.

You guys are all so damn pessimistic! We finished 2nd for everyone of those players!! That's not bad!! ********

O'Korn would've left here the best QB we've ever had. The dude looks like Randall Cunningham behind the LOS and is an efficient runner when he needs to be past the LOS.

This was by far the biggest miss of that class. He's an absolute stud of a QB.

I wanted O'Korn as well, but, honestly, I think we are fine at QB right now. None of these guys would've beaten out Dak, we ended up signing a pretty good one last year, and we have some good ones coming in.

I have no problem with people complaining about how many QBs Mullen has missed on, but this year he got his guy. We literally have the best QB situation in the history of our school right now.

We can't sign 5 QBs in every class. I'm actually happy that we at least evaluated them correctly. Hopefully means Staley will be good.

Which guy?

Which guy?

Staley was the guy we were on from the start. May have been our first QB offer.

O'Korn was a huge miss! He wouldn't have beaten Dak THIS year but I am not so sure about an entire offseason with our team with drills & camps he couldn't have.

Oh ok. I gotcha. Yeah, Staley is certainly THE QB for this class but he hasn't signed a damn thing yet. A lot of things can happen. I thought you meant the Williams kid.
