Maybe it will rain

Most of the green fields have been bush hogged and disced. Weeks ago. Maybe we will get some rain Monday, and we might can start to plant next weekend. It has been so hot that there is no desire to even pull a string. How is everyone?s planting going?

We planted several fields before the rain Saturday here In Arkansas.

I planted several Friday before the rain Sunday and checked them yesterday and they have sprouted and are about 1/4” tall.

We finished up yesterday in the rain. We waited one more week to get some initial moisture in the ground before planting. Now we wait, but we believe we hit it just right.
