It doesn't show up now, but as of right now they have us 25th and KSU 32nd so it would probably be around 60%.

If you flip a coin and it lands heads, it doesn't mean that the next flip will (or won't) be heads. We could lose to Ole Miss in the 23.4% scenario, just like we lost to Kansas State in the 40% scenario, but we probably won't.

For whatever reason, our fans continue to evaluate us off of games where Willie & Autry don't play. We are significantly better with those two on the field

The biggest mistake I think most MSU fans make is that they swing too far on teams week to week.

Sometimes teams get up to play games & it's a better matchup for them. Sometimes they are own the road without their two best defensive players & the QB gets hurt, sometimes ......

You have to look at more than just how a team plays each week.

I don't think they fire Luke.

I'd be willing to bet he wins 5 games & they give him another year. The new Prez is a really really nice guy that I have no doubt will error on the side of giving Luke one more year

Their bigger issue will be keeping both of these assistants that are clearly a big part of the turn around

With Plumlee & Ealy, they've got something to build with, but if Rich Rod leaves, they have to start all the way over.

I wonder if Rich Rod could perform a coup if he threatened to leave

When you take the emotion and Message Board Heroism out and just look at the numbers, all 3 of those teams are much weaker than us, based on what's been shown so far. There's not an objective ranking system out there (FPI or otherwise) that puts any of them in our league, much less better.

That doesn't mean we can't lose to them, but with Shrader settling in more and more each week and our moronic suspended players likely playing in all 3, anything worse than 2-1 is absolute disaster and Moorhead should be coaching for his job next year.

Vandy wouldn't be good in any conference. They're so slow it's almost criminal. Mason still tries to run that Stanford offense and doesn't have the horses to do it.

Agreed. They looked terrible on O last night. Terrible.

They can recruit for baseball obviously. They have that huge endowment to offer any kid a scholarship. They have their academics and the town of Nashville to recruit for them. I don’t get why they are so bad every single year. I guess the school just doesn’t care about football.

Did ole miss really elect a Homecoming King this year?

Yes. At least their Queen was female. A Memphis high school had a male ?Queen? for their HC.

Time to get rid of that tradition. It?s pointless anyway.
