An extremely over rated QB that is a legacy kid.

Yea, they still beat our brakes off, but Shrader shows more promise to me.

Don't worry....he'll be gone when Joe is run off.

Pretty tough environment for him. I think he will be pretty good there, though he can’t run nearly as well as he was made out to be.

So a true freshman goes on the road and struggles against a top 20 defense in the country ? No way
The hype around Nix is Auburn?s on doing... he will be a solid QB there
funny thing is if Patrick Mahomes could come back and have 2 years of college eligibility left, Auburn would Still start Nix

Hopefully every 2020 and 2021 big time High school recruit knows that
I fully expect Joey Gatewood in transfer portal sooner than later

And agree I really like our future at the QB position

It's not Nix's fault he received a 5 star rating. It's the fault of ranking companies that have no accountability and are encouraged to build hype.

Nix will be solid at Auburn but should've been rated an 88-92 type high 3 star, low 4 star. That's where his tool set fits. If there were a HS draft, he would've been a 2nd/3rd rounder. If that were his rating, my guess is that Gatewood would be starting and Bo would be a promising QB that was backing him up.

The ranking that was not commiserate with his ability that created expectations that he was not talented enough to meet.

Never trust ratings that could be political

Nix looked like a Heisman Trophy winner against our defense.

Nix looked like a Heisman Trophy winner against our defense.

So did ULL's

My guess is that Nix has small hands which leads to his inaccuracy. That won't improve
