I actually want it to be Fulmer because I know he's going to fail. Which he deserves after he back stabbed Johnny Majors.

Yes yes yes! Fat Phil needs to destroy his legacy. Majors was a great coach and decent man who loved UT and that fat turd stabbed him in the back. It would be fitting for him to comeback and flop!

And I highly doubt Freeze will ever coach in the SEC ever again. He's still doing embarrassing things at Liberty like the coaching with the hospital bed and dentist's chair at games. Not to mention the obvious. It's simply not worth it in the high stakes SEC.

I don’t know that Feeeze will ever be taken seriously again by P5 programs. Someone could maybe sneak him in as an assistant coordinator somewhere but that would be about it.

Looked at liberty's schedule to see how ole freeze is doing. He's won 3 in a row after starting 0-2. Why in the world are they playing New Mexico st twice this year?

Is it common knowledge in the coaching circles how Freeze recruits with red backpacks and hookers? How far is Knoxville from some place like Memphis to get strippers bused in? He is an average coach who learned how to cheat in recruiting. I would think UT could get someone better unless they think he could improve their Network and start rivaling Bama in recruiting classes.

Fat Phil was the first coach I personally heard of using "hostesses" to recruit players.

They both became FBS independents a couple years ago and suddenly needed to fill an entire schedule. They did the same last year, too. Just helping each other out.

I think this scenario would be a lot more likely than TN hiring Freeze. Even if the SEC allowed TN to hire Freeze as their coach ( which that ain't gonna happen), he would be closely scrutinized by the SEC Office and probably the NCAA as well.

Saban would have more than likely hired Freeze if he had received the SEC's blessings on doing do. He didn't get them and Freeze was not hired.

I imagine they have, but they are not going to publish or say something based upon what they think without having concrete facts to verify it. I still believe there was some sort of alleged deal worked out prior to the COI Hearing to water the infractions down.

I may be misremembering, but wasn't there a secretary or scheduler in the athletic department at Ole Miss who said she'd arranged for "hostesses" from Memphis to be on site in Oxford for recruiting visits, and perhaps other places? Maybe that was just a nasty rumor.
