"We're a very soft team, you know, we get a lot of good press, we like to read it a lot, we like to pat ourselves on the back," Leach said. "And you know, if we get any resistance, we fold. And what's amazing about this is most of these guys were on the same team last year, and that was a tough team for us. We got nearly the same guys and all of a sudden they're not tough, you know, they're fat, dumb, happy and entitled."

Sounds familiar. Fortunately for Leach he sees it. Unfortunately for us, Joe believes the "We are great" from the 247sports MSU brotherhood.

To be honest if Joe did that our fans would bash him like they did Cohen when he was the baseball coach.

I like the guy, but he blew a 32 point lead to UCLA last week at home. If you blow a 32 point lead, that's plain and simple shitty coaching

Very true...

Yeah because Mike Leach is renown for his unmitigated success, we wish we had a coach that publicly crapped on his players like that.

The reason Mike Leach doesn't have a job worth a damn is because of comments like that right there.

Bingo. Moorhead....say exactly this. It is 100% true outside Shrader and Kylin. Kylin could block better though.

I like leach too but his teams have always been soft. It's not a new development. It's why he doesn't want to coach in the sec

Hill ain't tough ... he just ain't. Shrader is inherently tough. He like Dak and Fitz pre-ankle injury.

And guess whose job it is to make them tough? His. That’s something you say to your team behind closed doors.

Ahhh ... at this level you don't coach effort or toughness. You coach precision.

ETA: You don't get tough by talking about it either.

I actually think Leach is lobbying for an SEC job right now. First to offer he'll take. Arkansas or Tennessee early favorites to offer and both fan bases want him.

He don't believe in defense. Like his offense tho.

Leach is crazy. He’s a good offensive mind but he’s crazy (like a lot of high IQ people).
