Did you see what Brandon Holloway had to say about fans and their constant bashing of performances? In short. ........

STFU

I couldn't agree more.

Some fire from the guy that brought his ONLY KO return 95 yards and hasn't been back there since? Sweet. Surely he doesn't understand where any of the complaints are coming from.

If the team wants the bitching to stop, step up and play with relentless effort for 60 minutes and stop it. It's simple as hell. When they quit in second halves and otherwise don't play hard, don't run routes hard, don't block, etc -- they are going to hear criticism.

Engie,
You should read his tweets. I think he was referring to your type.

And where did I bitch about a player on our team? Please show me this bitching -- I'd love to see it. Devon Bell, maybe? And I never said a damn thing about him personally -- just Mullen's dumb ass for continuing to run him out there -- and sitting our Ray Guy finalist to let the dude punt? Who else?

That's right -- I put it all on your buddy that gave you a little access -- so you are now his footsoldier that refuses to see any issues with what we are doing. What did you predict our record to be in the preseason again? Seems we're not meeting your expectations either.

Someone reply and tell them to stop doing less with more each week and people will shut the **** up.

Unlike you I don't have a little buddy that gives me access I have access no middle man needed. I just don't beat my chest because I have it. Half of the things I wouldn't tell in a public forum regardless.

It was actually a series of post, good stuff. I just took out one to make a point of how the players feel.

If the players are satisfied with their shit performances, especially in the 2nd half of games, then we may have solved the questions as to why they have looked so shitty. But this all falls back on coaching any way you look at it.

What are you even talking about?

I read his twitter. Got no problem with anything he wrote. If half our starters would show the same moxie, maybe we could move the ball in the second half.

Did you see Mullen grinning and giving his police escorts the sigh of relief after barely beating Kentucky at home?! That's exactly the shit that has everyone pissed off. Mullen is a better coach than he's been the last 13+ games. Why would we sit back and let him underperform. He brought this on himself. He wanted the pressure and raised expectations but now that they are here he has digressed as a coach. Why?

If you "don't beat your chest cause you have it" -- why are you beating your chest right now? Total congruence**

Thanks for admitting that you are too close and can't step back and see the situation for what it is though.

Say what you want and believe what you want. You live in the internet world with statistics and rep points. I could care less about all the things to live to know and run to these boards to post.

Yet that's EXACTLY what you just did in starting this thread. Is it not?

How about you chill with this labeling people bs. I simply want the best for MSU the same as anybody else -- and I don't think what I'm seeing on the field and in recruiting right now is best for MSU anymore. Simple as that.

Where did I "bash" anyone in my opening statement? I gave the simplest POSSIBLE solution to the problem. If Mullen and the players want the bitching to stop, step up and STOP IT with your play and effort on the field and in the coaching box. There is NO easier way for that to happen.

There is 100 years of former MSU players that would LOVE to play on this $100mil field, in front of these people, on tv in front of millions, in a $25mil practice facility, and enjoy the all-out rock star status these guys enjoy that their predecessors didn't. With rock star status comes a microcosm of both glory and criticism. That's a 100% truth in Starkville, MS and in New York, NY.

I don't know why you think you can overcome that by calling people out -- who have had mostly only valid criticisms on this and other message boards. Now, if you are talking about idiots stalking our players on twitter -- then I agree -- they are a problem. I don't know why you think you can find them here though. Simple fact is that a bunch of us follow each other -- and I've seen more "keep your head up" tweets than anything else -- even from those that no longer think Mullen is the answer.

I appreciate the heck out of our players! What I would love to see is relentless effort from them for the entire game, no taking plays off, no awww shucks kind of stuff. Just get out there and bang heads! My dissatisfaction is directed at the "adults" in our football program and athletic department. The players have my support 100%, the coaching staff, not so much.

Well one thing about it, if we play the rest of the season like we have the last 2 games there won't be any more MSU fans bitching after wins because there won't be any more wins. The same effort will likely lose us all 5 remaining games. The only game we might have a chance at with our current level of play is Arkansas if they have thrown in the towel for the season by the time we play them.

The way I look at our program is the same way I look at a publicly shared company and its stock holders. The stock holders invest in the company and expect performance. Performance is rewarded with increased value and a lot of times increased dividends. If a company starts underperforming, and the share holders know that the company "should" be performing better compared to it's peers, the share holders start to grumble. They start sending emails and calling the board members, and demand some changes. If these changes are not made and/or performance continues to lag behind, the board gets rid of the top brass, or the share holders start putting their money elsewhere.

We as fans who pump in thousands of $'s of our own money each year into a football program, have every right to demand, at worst, adequate product on the field. If we had shitty coaches and a bunch of 2 star players, I would not be surprised with squeaking by BG and UK. But we have a damn good team, talent and potential wise. We as "share holders" know we have more than what we are seeing on the field each week. The rewards in football are W's and being competitive in the L's. Never giving up and having an "I dont give a **** attitude". We are not seeing the performance that we expect. Losing while playing hard for 60 minutes, is a hell of a lot different than losing or barely winning against inferior opponents, and not playing hard.

Until something changes, we will continue to demand relentless effort from our team and coaches. And if the powers at be do not listen to the voices of the share holders, the company stock and value drops because investors start pulling out. This is the same with football programs. We have seen what can be accomplished when people believe in the direction and start donating more "purchasing stock", but may start going the other way if we continue to shit the bed weekly.

Easy fix here, stop disappearing in the second half and people will "STFU." Works both ways guy who's entire education is paid for to play a child's game.

He never did it directly. But him and Nelson Adams were mentioning how Alabama's student section was "the way it should be" or something similar to that when it was 40 something to 10 and still full

"a child's game"? Pot meet kettle. A child's game, really? Beer, there are no children playing CF. I NEVER want to see a post that complain s about recruiting again. We are our worst enemy.

What he is referring to is the Unv of Alabama and how they can punish the students for leaving early. Saban made a big stink earlier this week about the students leaving.
