I love Duke's system. They go Under center, then shotgun. 3 wides then 2 TE's. 2 back, 1 back. Man, they really mix it up. Cutcliffe has developed Eli and Peyton and now Daniel Jones. Duke was 4-42 when he took over.

He won 19 his 1st 2 years at VT. Only 6 last season and this season looks bad. They can't run the ball, at all... perhaps recruiting is fuente's issue

this is a really bad take. Look at cut's last 7 years at Duke minus 1 bad year. You also have to consider the program he inherited. About to be 3-1 this year with the only loss coming to Bama.

But he's coaching at Duke, a school that's a bit more elite in academics than Tennessee, and presumably that applies to football players as well. However, winning in the ACC is a lot easier than winning in the SEC. I suspect Cutcliff is happy at Duke, and he's getting a bit long in the tooth.

I'm not going to debate this with you. The guy is a hell of coach. I'm thankful the dummies at Ole Miss ran him out of town. He's the only guy other than Spurrier to ever do shit at Duke. He went 10-2 at Ole Miss, 7-1 in the SEC and got fired a year later. He was a hell of an OC at UT.

Surely that won't happen. Maybe Gay would have been suspended for the first half anyway because of the ejection last week? I never really knew if that carried a full game (or equivalent) suspension like targeting does, or if it was just for the game with the two unsportsmanlike penalties. Regardless, not making the trip could have been a Moorhead-induced punishment, even if it wasn't a requirement.
